Bedford Alzheimer’s Care Center
Bedford Alzheimer’s Care Center is a 60 bed nursing center. This unique center is dedicated to the care of individuals who have memory care issues, dementia, and Alzheimer’s Disease. Bedford Alzheimers Care Center is divided into three distinct households where residents reside. We employ a dedicated staff that are specifically trained in memory care issues. An enclosed courtyard with a circular walking path is an ideal spot for residents and their families to enjoy the outdoors. Individualized care is provided in a warm and loving environment to enhance resident comfort and quality of life.
Bedford Alzheimer’s Care Center has been recognized as a 2019 recipient of the Bronze – Commitment to Quality Award for its dedication to improving the lives of residents through quality care. The award is the first of three distinctions possible through the National Quality Award program, presented by the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL). The program honors centers across the nation that have demonstrated their commitment to improving quality care for seniors and individuals with disabilities.
Meet Our Administrator
Pamela McKee Kelly, LPC, NHA received both her Bachelor’s and her Master’s degrees in psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 19 years working with older adults experiencing cognitive deficits and behavioral issues.
Pam serves on the advisory board for DisentangedAD, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to supporting Alzheimer's Care in South Mississippi. Pam has been with Bedford Care since 2008 and is a fierce advocate for older adults and the struggles they encounter.
