Bedford Care Center of Hattiesburg

Located in the heart of Hattiesburg’s medical community, just behind Forrest General Hospital and Hattiesburg Clinic, Bedford Care Center of Hattiesburg is a 152 bed skilled nursing facility. The facility has beautifully updated common areas, a large gazebo, raised flower gardens and manicured lawns. The sunroom opens to an enclosed courtyard leading to a large, inviting dining room with a baby grand piano and fireplace. The center offers a 30 bed unit (all private rooms) which is a dedicated rehabilitation unit offering an aggressive therapy program in addition to a day room and dining space within the unit. Well-equipped therapy rooms and activity programs ensure resident recreation in addition to the highest quality in care.

Bedford Care Center of Hattiesburg has been recognized as a 2017 recipient of the Silver – Achievement in Quality Award for its dedication to improving the lives of residents through quality care. The award is the second of three distinctions possible through the AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Program, which was established in 1996 and spotlights providers across the nation that have demonstrated their commitment to improving quality of care for residents and patients in long term and post-acute care centers and communities. Bedford Care Center of Hattiesburg was the only facility in Missisippi in 2017 to receive this high honor.
